Covid Updates
Cattery Restrictions
Health and safety is of utmost importance to us, and we require all visitors to the Cattery be free from any signs of illness (fever, coughing, etc.). Once you arrive we will ask you to leave your shoes outside and to wash your hands in antibacterial soap before touching any animal. At this time we do not require masks to be worn, but we will temperature scan (forehead) any visitor who is not fully vaccinated.
While the worldwide Covid infection rate in pets and animals is remarkably low, pets and animals do carry a myriad of infectious diseases that can be passed to our Cats; we therefor require on the day of your visit, that you do not enter any animal shelter or rescue facility, or come into contact with any animal or pet not directly in your care before coming to the Cattery.
Shipping Restrictions
Domestic cargo shipping of all animals is currently prohibited. Any domestic transport of a kitten/cat at this time must be done by our animal courier.
Governmental Restrictions
The Cattery is not subject to any governmental restrictions at this time.
Covid & Animals
It is important to remember that there is no evidence at this time that animals play a significant role in spreading SARS-CoV-2. Accordingly, there is no reason to remove pets from homes where COVID-19 has been identified in members of the household, unless there is risk that the pet itself is not able to be cared for appropriately. In this pandemic emergency, pets and people each need the support of the other and veterinarians are there to support the good health of both.
